Z’Tejas to Participate in Forest Renewal Efforts

Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas – Z’Tejas known for its fresh, flavorful and innovative menu, announces that for every bottle of Trinity Oaks wine sold, a tree will be planted in a deforested area. This program called “One Bottle One Tree” is in collaboration with Trees for the Future, an ecological recovery program that restores forests globally.  Proceeds are donated from each bottle to plant trees in degraded lands all over the world.  Trinity Oaks has donated a tree for each bottle sold since July 2008 and plans to continue supporting this program for sustainable recovery.  So come in to enjoy a bottle of Trinity Oaks Pinot Noir at Z’Tejas today and do your part for environmental sustainability.  

Z’Tejas is pleased to support an additional cause, VeeV Spirits, producer of VeeV Acai Spirits, pledges to donate $1 from every bottle sold to The Sustainable Acai Project, which supports sustainability in the Brazilian rainforest and farmers that harvest the Acai berry.  Additionally, VeeV is the only distillery in the world to be certified as carbon neutral by deriving all of its power from renewable energy sources.  Z’Tejas features this spirit in two of their refreshing new “Naturally Skinny” cocktails, the VeeV Spa Cooler and Acai Basil Gimlet. The “Naturally Skinny” cocktails use no artificial sweeteners and feature fresh natural flavors for delicious drinks at less than 250 calories.
