The BIG Plum Festival – Larger than a Glaston-berry!

Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Plum Fever has hit Pershore once again this August with the Annual Plum Festival Celebrations!

So don’t miss out on The BIG Plum Beer, Food and Music Festival on 28th, 29th and 30th August Bank Holiday weekend at the Angel Inn Hotel Riverside Gardens, Pershore.  Entry to the BIG Plum Festival is FREE all weekend.

Revellers can enjoy Festival Ales and Ciders, wines, Pimms and, unique to the Angel Hotel, a welcome return of the delicious YELLOW EGG PLUM CIDER. There will be a host of musical entertainment for all ages including Jazz, Folk, Blues, Rock and Classical live acts on stage plus children’s face painting and freshly prepared world foods on offer.

On Saturday 28th August, dig out your platforms and flares to join us for a live performance from one of the UK’s leading ABBA tribute acts – ABBA Now – from 7.30pm. This event is completely free and, as throughout the weekend, is complemented by a garden bar serving great festival food and drinks. A bottle of champagne will be awarded for the best ABBA costume so don’t forget to arrive decked out in your 70’s finest!

Don’t miss the FAMILY FIREWORKS garden event on Sunday evening from 9 pm - tickets available from The Angel Hotel or Browns Hardware store - £3 adults and £2 children (under 5’s FREE).
