After the release of two new Pixma Photo All-in-One printers(Pixma MG8120 and Pixma MG6120 ), Canon also releases a new compact photo printer: the Selphy CP800.
As the replace of the Selphy CP780, the Selphy CP800 will be popular in the dedicated dye sub photo printer line. Like other Canon Selphy printers, the CP800 implements a dye ribbon cartridge allowing for the printer to be super mobile without the worry of ink spills or a print head getting unaligned.
Additionally, the Selphy CP800 photo printer features an adjustable 2.5 inch LCD, built-in memory card with a PictBridge port, 4x6 photo prints in as fast as 43 seconds, and several photo printing options including ID photo print, photo collage and skin smoothing.
As the Selphy CP780, Canon will also release the Selphy CP800 in multiple finishes, including balck and white. In this fall, Canon and its authorized retailers will start shipping the Canon Selphy CP800 Compact Photo Printer, and the estimated street price will be roughly $99.99.
