Asian MBA Leadership Conference Awards Top Companies and Leaders within Asian Professional Community

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 18, 2010 - New York, NY – The Asian MBA Leadership Conference & Career Expo has released its final list of awardees for the Top Ten Companies for Asian Americans as well as their Asian MBA Leadership Awards. The Conference will return to the Jacob Javits Convention Center for the second time, from August 26th through the 28th with the theme, “Connect. Engage. Inspire.” The awardees will be announced at the Asian MBA Leadership Conference during the elaborate Gala Dinner on Friday, August 27th, in front of the Asian American Business Community and its leaders. The Master of Ceremony for the Dinner will be Vivian Lee, a reporter and anchor for NY1 News.

The Top Ten Companies for Asian Americans Award is conferred to companies for their outstanding efforts in recruiting, retaining, and promoting Asian American employees and for fostering workplace diversity. The awarded companies are as follows:

There are also three Asian American Professionals who will be presented the prestigious Asian MBA Awards. The purpose of these awards is to celebrate and to recognize their leadership, accomplishments, and the positive impact they made on business and the Asian American community. For the Global Executive Excellence Award, Toshiharu Okimuro, Chairman & CEO of Casio America; for the Emerging Leader Award, Ida Liu, Managing Director at Citi Private Bank; and for the Community Leadership Award, J.D. Hokoyama, President & CEO of LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics) will have the honor of receiving the accolades.
