Miami Jewish Health Systems Names Brian Kiedrowski Chief Medical officer

Aug. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Miami Jewish Health Systems (MJHS), one of South Florida ’s largest and most innovative providers of comprehensive healthcare, has named Dr. Brian Kiedrowski as its chief medical officer.  Prior to joining MJHS, he served as Vice President and Medical Director of Catholic Hospice. In his new role, Dr. Kiedrowski will lead MJHS’ team of physicians, set the standard for care across the organization, work closely with nursing, risk management, and compliance, and foster relationships with physicians in the community.

Dr. Kiedrowski brings a decade of diverse experience in the healthcare field, having served as associate medical director of Moorings Park Care Retirement Community, medical director of the Wellness Clinic and Skilled Unit at Glenview Residences, and medical director of XL-Care Home Health Agency. He has also worked in private practice in internal medicine and geriatrics.

Dr. Kiedrowski is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care, and is a Certified Medical Director. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Florida Medical Association, the American Medical Director Association, the American Geriatric Society, and the American Academy of Hospice/Palliative Medicine. Originally from Milwaukee , he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin , and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
