Follow on Google News | Knox Chosen for TBJ Women of Distinction AwardTeresa Knox, founder and CEO of Community Care College (CCC), Clary Sage College (CSC) and Oklahoma Technical College (OTC), has been nominated and chosen by a panel of judges for the Tulsa Business Journal’s (TBJ) Women of Distinction Award.
By: Amanda Bringham Nominations for the award were to be submitted to TBJ through July 28 via an online form. It is to recognize 20 successful women in the Tulsa metro area for their accomplishments in their career, personal lives and civic endeavors. Knox began the college with one program, dental assisting, and has grown it to three different campuses including more than 11 programs and more to come in only 16 years. CCC specializes in healthcare and business disciplines; Knox will be presented her award at the annual luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on September 21. The keynote speaker is Kathy Taylor (chief of education strategy and innovation for the state of Oklahoma and form Tulsa mayor) and the emcee is Julie Chin (morning and midday meteorologist for KJRH 2News).The event is open to the public. # # # About Community Care College: Community Care College is a licensed and accredited institution offering programs in Healthcare and Business disciplines.
