Aug. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- JAMISON, PA - JULY 31, 2010 - Surrounded by tall cornfields, rustic farmhouses, great food and great music, 125 guests came to celebrate the "Bounty of Bucks County".  This 'Farm to Table' event, sponsored by the Heritage Conservancy, boasted an amazing menu created by renowned chefs Dave Zuckerman and Chris Tavares of Earl's of Bucks County and Dave March from Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods.  The menu included items such as watermelon-cucumber jalapeno carpaccio, 24-hour slow roasted pork and asparagus and roasted corn salad.  The event was planned by Lime Events, a Bucks County-based special events firm, along with a staff and volunteers from Heritage Conservancy.

Guests started their evening with a cocktail hour.  Live music by artist Bill Neale set the mood for a night of appreciation for our local farms.  Also there to support the cause, Peace Valley Winery and Riverhorse brewery added their own local flavors to the party.  During the cocktail hour, a silent auction with more than 19 gift baskets from 35 donors gave guests a chance to donate to the Conservancy but also win some amazing prizes.

A buffet style dinner inspired by the surrounding cornfields gave everyone time to relax and enjoy the company of friends.  A campfire gave attending children a chance to enjoy themselves as well; sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows and eating hand-dipped ice cream from Owowcow was enough for the younger supporters.

As the sun set on Lindsay Farm, diners lined up for their desserts.  Guests enjoyed a gluten free chocolate whipped cream strawberry shortcake (courtesy of Town Crier Bakery), rustic apple tart (also Town Crier), hand-dipped ice cream from the aforementioned Owowcow, cookies from Maryanne Pastry Shoppe and fresh peaches from Manoff Farms.  Amazing deserts capped off a wonderful night on the farm that couldn't have happened without the support of all of the guests and sponsors involved.
