Polaris World have begun construction of the island properties - La Isla - at Terrazas de la Torre resort in Murcia, Spain. The town centre is expected to be ready late summer along with the golf course in October.
Construction of the island properties, on sale since 2007 was delayed during the credit crisis and as Polaris World refinanced its business.
Polaris World reached a deal with its creditors in April 2010 and has since continued to complete the penthouses phase at Terrazas de la Torre and now more recently begun the construction of the La Isla properties.
La Isla is similar to the island constructed at the resort of Condado de Alhama. The properties are located on large man made lake offering views across the water and on to the golf course and mountains. La Isla sold well on release and customers have had to wait until the financial crisis abated and for Polaris World to begin construction.
