Louisville Orthodontics Office Runs Children’s Writing Contest

Aug. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Louisville, CO – Smile Zone Orthodontics’ Louisville CO orthodontists are offering a writing competition for school-age children. The topic for the contest is: “What I did this summer” and contestants are required to write at least one page.
The contest’s operators suggest that children write with humor and creativity. The Louisville CO orthodontics practice will be taking entries until September 15, 2010, when judging will start.

“I believe it’s essential for children to learn to communicate in writing,” explains Louisville orthodontics provider (http://www.smilezoneortho.com/) Dr. Jonathan Weinbach. “Writing is an important skill that children will need to use for their entire lives. We’re happy to encourage kids to improve their writing abilities and we’re hoping they have some fun participating.”

Two local school teachers, one each from Westminster CO and Louisville CO, will be judges. They will evaluate the entries on length, creativity, and good use of grammar. The judges will select first, second, and third place winners.
