The historic band reunion event will include an alumni band pre-game performance of the school song as well as other Tiger Band favorites from over the past 50 years. Since this will be the very first time for an alumni band to ever play in the stands during an Irving High School football game, the group will be wearing specially designed commemorative alumni shirts and hats, which are available for purchase at Lewisville Sports Center.
Organized by former students and directors who initially reconnected through Facebook in 2010, the Irving High School Band Alumni Association (http://www.tigerbandalumni.org) is dedicated to continuing the school’s long tradition of performance excellence and upholding the core values of the IHS Tiger Band – dignity, honor, pride.
