Following on from previous successes in the 2008 and 2009 Trafford Business Awards; DGOS are proud to have been nominated again in 2010 and could be set for two sets of honours if all goes well.
Following the initial judging session held last week, DG Office Supplies Ltd were shortlist as one of the five contenders for the ‘Business of the Year’ award, whilst Managing Director Darren Carr was once again put forward for the coveted ‘Business Person of the Year’ Award alongside two other contenders for the prize.
When asked about his thoughts on the dual nomination, Mr Carr stated:
“I'm over the moon that DGOS has been recognised in Manchester for the hard work my team has put in. We have grown by 30%+ year on year & by over 300% in Manchester City centre alone. We were lucky enough to win the Superstat £2m+ dealer of the year in June and ranked 2nd in the IDS league this year too. But I must say it is especially pleasing that we are now being acknowledged outside of our beloved industry by being shortlisted in the Top 5 companies in Trafford, Manchester.”
The winners of all Trafford Business Awards will be announced at a lavish ceremony to be held at Old Trafford Football Stadium; home of Manchester United on Friday 17th of September.
