AeroCentury Corporation , an independent aircraft leasing company, today reported its preliminary, unaudited operating results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010. For the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, ACY reported total revenues of $9.1 million compared with total revenues of $8.2 million for the same period a year ago. For the six months ended June 30, 2010, ACY reported total revenues of $17.9 million compared with revenues of $16.3 million for the same period in 2009. ACY reported net income of $528,000, or $0.33 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2010, compared to net income of $1,368,000, or $0.89 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2009 and net income of $2,423,000, or $1.53 per diluted share, for the first six months of 2010, compared to net income of $2,606,000, or $1.69 per diluted share, for the first six months of 2009. Total expenses increased by approximately $2.1 million and $1.9 million in the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2010, respectively, as compared to the same periods in 2009.
