Key Hyundai is Proud to Announce its Free School Supplies Giveaway to the Hartford area Community

Aug. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- The first day of school is around the cornor and Connecticut families are beginning to stock up on school supplies.  

On Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 11:00am to 3:00pm, Jill Merriam's Key Hyundai will host its first ever Free School Supplies Giveaway at Key Hyundai of Manchester 21 Hartford Tpke, Vernon, CT  06066.  La Bomba 97.5 will be broadcasting live in support of the free school supply giveaway.  Jill Merriam, owner of Key Hyundai, is using this free school supplies giveaway as a way to give back to the community that has support her family for over 50 years.


"Tough economic conditions have made it difficult for parents to afford their kids school supplies. That’s why I'm giving away free school supplies to help the community. Plus, Moms and Dads don't have to waste valuable family time in the long lines at the department stores. They can spend that time with their children instead,” Merriam said.

In addition to giving away free school supplies, there will be free food and drinks and a constant stream of music from LaBomba 97.5.  There is also an opportunity to win a free iPad simply by becoming a Facebook fan of Key Hyundai at http://www.facebook.com/keyhyundai

"Many families spend this weekend trying to get their back to school shopping done and I hope my free school supply giveaway will put a little extra money in their pockets for school clothes and other back to school items," says Ms. Merriam.

"We'll have a limited supply of free school supplies for the kids," Merriam said. "When we run out, that’s it. So I’m encouraging everyone to arrive as early as possible. I'd hate for anyone to miss out."
