Aug. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Large numbers of returning guests who have stayed at the Kalithea Horizon Royal Hotel, Rhodes in Greece are reporting illness.  Guests complain that standards of hygeine are not as they should be with amongst other things, flies all over uncovered food in the restaurant.

Symptoms reported in resort are consistent with food poisoning (cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting).

Travel law specialist Andrew Morton  from Pannone LLP says that guests affected may have a claim for compensation.

"Anyone returning from this resort that has been taken ill should consult their own GP as soon as possible to confirm exactly what their illness was and then seek legal advice regarding possible compensation.  If they can prove that their illness was caused by poor standards of hygiene / food preparation at their accommodation, they could pursue a claim against the Tour Operator."
