Indianapolis dining institution, Hollyhock Hill Restaurant has been named to the prestigious list of “America’s Best” by Travel + Leisure Magazine for its signature fried chicken.
The annual “America’s Best” awards highlight the results of a survey conducted among Travel + Leisure readers which allows them to share their opinions of favored experiences across the entire hospitality industry. These are recognized alongside Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best” award winners in the magazines’ August issue and in an online exclusive on their website, www.travelandleisure.com.

The “America’s Best” article lauds fried chicken in general as “our nation’s dish of choice” and “the workingman’s filet mignon”, referring to Hollyhock Hill’s house specialty as the “best of the best”. The authors specifically credit its freshness, simplicity in preparation and consistent quality for its overall success. A total of ten restaurants were named to the list, representing cities from New York to Los Angeles and Chicago to Atlanta.
