Elite Ink Tattoo Studios has scheduled September 23, 2010 as free Breast Cancer ribbon tattoo day. 100% of the proceeds raised will directly benefit The Pink Fund.
The 2nd Annual "Pink Ink" fundraiser is headed by John Motyka, owner and tattooist. Appointments are being scheduled for September 23rd at the Centerline location. A standard Pink Ribbon Tattoo will be free with a minimum donation to the Pink Fund. Motyka said "we are doing this again because its for a tremendous cause". The staff at Elite Ink has pledged to raise over $5,000 for the Pink Fund on this day. There will be raffles, food, drinks, and tattoos.
Last year Elite Ink was able to raise $1032 for the Pink Fund.

The mission of the Pink Fund is to provide short-term financial aid to women and men (and therefore their families) that is in active treatment for and recovery from breast cancer. The Pink Fund has been formed to help women (and men) focus on healing, raising their families and returning to the workplace. The Pink Fund will provide short term financial aid during the brief period of treatment and recovery. Literally millions of dollars are being raised for early detection, research and programs for the medically undeserved. Families facing breast cancer urgently need financial help now.
