Boston, MA-Another great turnout despite the economy and family vacation week was enjoyed by many local business folks, family, and friends. Director Bill and Donna McHugh were pleased with the support and the outstanding weather. McHugh said, "The course was in specatular condition and the staff made the event streamless".
For 15 years consecutively Bill has donated his time and efforts to ensure that the money raised goes to a worthy cause. Moreover, 90% of the attendees walk away with some sort raffle prize ensuring that all have a great day and have increased awareness to a great cause.
The tournament began in honor of Pat McHugh who passed away in the mid 90's. Along the years many participating golfers lost a loved ones and Bill McHugh changed the honor to include not only Mrs. McHugh but all who haved lost members to a life cut short.
As of press release the total money was still coming in from donations; however, during awards Mr. McHugh proudly stated that donations and matching business donations exceeded $500,000 since inecption.
