The wait is over! After just 4 months, The Los Angeles Youth Network is proud to invite you to the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Taft House location. Please join us for champagne, hors d'oeuvres and a tour of our beautiful transitional housing space on Thursday, August 26th, 2010 from 6-8 pm at: LAYN Taft House, 1754 Taft Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
Cutting the ribbon and officially opening the house will be representatives from Gensler Architecture and Design and Mata Construction, who assisted and facilitated the donation of more than $50,000 in labor and materials to make the renovation possible.
The Taft location is one of three shelter facilities operated by the Los Angeles Youth Network. LAYN serves homeless youth in Hollywood between the ages of 12-17 and offers counseling, case management, enrichment and street outreach to youth and their families.
