Ontario Solar Provider Is Hosting Information Sessions On Solar PV In 10 Locations Across Ontario

Aug. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- OSP’s green goal is to bring the same successes experienced in Germany in the renewable energy sector to Ontario in a commercially attractive way. The company heavily promotes green energy and sees it as instrumental to educate potential clients and the public on all benefits and issues related to solar PV in Ontario, as well as highlight the financial benefits of the FIT program. OSP is also able to advise on their experience with Ontario’s FIT program as compared to the European and US models. The information sessions will be located in Norfolk, Guelph, Newmarket, Kingston, Ottawa, Belleville, London, Windsor, St. Catharines and Kitchener (in order of dates).

Participation is free and informal. Visitors can drop by on the day of the event between 4pm and 7pm for a conversation with OSP’s experienced PV installers and development professionals. Norfolk (Aug 18th), Guelph (Aug 19th), Newmarket (Aug 24th), Kingston (Aug 25th), Ottawa (Aug 26th), Belleville (Aug 27th), London (Aug 30th), Windsor (Aug 31st), St. Catharines (Sep 1st) and Kitchener (Sep 2nd) from 4pm to 7pm.

To facilitate its green goal, OSP is actively looking to lease large rooftops as well as buy low-grade land to develop large-scale solar PV farms. The ideal ground-mounted PV site has more than 50 acres and is situated on land classified as CLI soil grade 3-7. As for the rooftop systems, OSP is looking at sites of 10,000 square feet and above. OSP is also searching for qualified and motivated sales personnel to facilitate the process.
