Fractional Life Expo: Perfect for fractional fashionistas

Aug. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Event organiser Fractional Life is delighted to announce that it will be hosting a daily fashion show at this year's Fractional Life Expo http://www.fractionallifeexpo.com to be held in the heart of the City of London on September 13th to 15th.

The show, which will be held each day at 1pm, will feature the latest fashions from two cutting edge fractional exhibitors who will have stands at the event.

Event manager Tracey Carter says: “The Fractional Life Expo has always had lots of appeal for the City boys, with the supercars in particular turning lots of heads. This year we wanted to make sure we appealed to the girls too, and by staging this exciting catwalk show with Girl Meets Dress and Designer Handbag Hire we are doing just that.”

Girl Meets Dress is the UK's first online rental service which allows women to borrow the hottest designer dresses. It was founded last year by Anna Bance, who was formerly working at French luxury brand Hermes. It has already won fashion trade bible Drapers ‘Best E-tail Innovation 2010’ award, and has been described as “one of the hottest internet retailers" by The Guardian and "the answer to your prayers" by Vogue.
 
The company, which delivers anywhere in the UK, has a collection of over 100 designer brands and 300 designer dresses, including creations by Marc Jacobs, Temperley and Chloe.

Founder Anna Bance says: “Fashion changes so much and Girl Meets Dress allows you to wear a bright red maxi dress to one event, and a fringed black mini to the next. It is a fun concept and people have really responded to it. Hopefully I have answered their prayers by giving them a new way to shop – a fun and affordable way to wear designer dresses...and if they want, a different dress for every occasion!”

Each handbag has its own calendar of availability so you can book your bag in advance for a special occasion or holiday, and you can hire your bag for a week, month or however long you choose – the service is bespoke to your needs.
