Hi everybody! This is Jerry Bryant, and this week we are covering events from Tuesday August 10th, through Wednesday August 18th.

Alright, this week around Nashville, here’s what’s happening:

On Wednesday, August 11th, at 6:30pm, there is a cancer support group that meets at People’s Church in room 164B, next to the bookstore. This group is for anyone who either has cancer or who has a loved one with cancer. This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month.  

On Thursday, August 12th, at 6pm, Concord Community Church of the Nazarene in Brentwood is holding soccer registration for kids age 4-10 to play in Upward Soccer.      

On Friday, August 13th, at 12 Noon, please join the Unity of Believers Radio Program on Solid Gospel 105.1 FM, for your lunch time entertainment. If you miss this broadcast at noon, you can catch it again at 11:30pm. Also on Friday, at 6:30pm, Nashville Shabbat will be held at Asaph’s Chamber on the Belmont Church campus, for those wanting to celebrate the Sabbath and share about their love for Israel. Also at 6:30pm, Ladies of all ages are invited to enjoy a tropical luau complete with island food, karaoke, games, and lots of fun, hosted at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. At 7pm, Mustard Seed Outreach presents the film, “Becoming God’s Best Version of You” at Agape Fellowship Church in Bellevue. At 7:30pm, Friday Night Fire will be held at the Foundry, a time of extravagant worship and intercession in the heart of downtown Nashville.      

On Saturday, August 14th, starting at 9am, the Rebelution Tour: Do Hard Things, a one-day conference for teens and their parents, will be hosted at Two Rivers Baptist Church. Also at 9am, the Contemplative Outreach of Middle Tennessee will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood. The focus of this event is silence, solitude, and service. At 5pm, the Back to School Bash, a family fun night with a silent auction, carnival games, music, and more will be held at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church in Goodlettsville. At 6pm, local rock sensation, “NOT ASHAMED” will be in concert at Loudhouse Coffee in Greenbrier, featuring their new Christian single “SALT”. These guys REALLY rock! Do you have FLAVOR?  

On Monday, August 16th, at 6pm, Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover is starting a series of classes every Monday night, at Mount Juliet Church of God, lasting through November.  

On Tuesday, August 17th, at 6pm, Mt. Zion Baptist Church is offering an Entrepreneurial Workshop in Whites Creek. At 6:30pm, Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover is starting a series of classes every Tuesday night, at Cumberland Church in Franklin. At 7pm, The Foundry will host Open Mic Night, formerly known as Songwriter’s Night, for those wanting to share their talent and support others in creative expression. At 7pm, Russ Taff will host Praise the Lord at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville. Unity of Believers is organizing a group to attend this TBN event, if you are attending on their behalf, be sure to arrive on time and tell the usher that you are with their group.
