La Papillon Spa Announces New Partnership for Dermatology Care

Baltimore’s “Best Day Spa,” as designated by Baltimore magazine, expands beauty team.
 
Aug. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Timonium/Lutherville, MD – Filling an anticipated desire with her clientele, Madeleine Homes, owner of La Papillon Spa & Gift Boutique announces a new enhancement to her beauty Board of Directors and service providers – Dr. Noëlle Sherber, dermatologist.  
   “As aestheticians, my staff and I have come across potentially harmful lesions or marks on our clients’ skin,” says Madeleine Homes, owner of La Papillon Spa.  “It is essential that we report any  anomaly to the client for further medical evaluation ‘just in case’.  Dr. Sherber is an outstanding partner to whom we can refer our clients with confidence. Knowing they will receive the care and attention they need in a timely and professional manner gives La Papillon peace of mind.”
   Ms. Homes also wants to offer her clientele new in-spa services, on a consistent basis, including beauty “injectables” like Botox® and Juvéderm®.  
                    The first of these events is a two-part series.  A meet-and-greet and lecture with Dr. Sherber on Wednesday evening, August 11, 2010 at La Papillon Spa from 5:30 – 7PM followed the next day by the actual injectables event on Thursday, August 12, 11AM – 7PM.

   Dr. Sherber, who is in private practice in Baltimore, is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University and earned her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  She completed a year of Internal Medicine training as well as a year of post-doctoral fellowship training in clinical trials methodology at Columbia University.  She returned to Johns Hopkins for her dermatology residency where she conducted research in collagen biology through the study of scleroderma, scleromyxedema and scar healing.  Dr. Sherber is active in several professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
