Comment with Sansa m250 MP3 Player : After much research, I purchased the Sansa m250 MP3 Player as a B-day gift for my teenage daughter. The main reasons for choosing the M250 over the plethora of other players was it's price, extremely small size, STANDARD AAA battery, FM tuner and most importantly, the ability to purchase and download mp3 files from ANY online retailer (not just the iTunes store). (My kids buy songs for [...]). My 11 year old son recently purchased the Sansa 1 GB version because he liked his sister's so much!

    The kids use Windows Media Player to manage and download their purchased songs to the player which is really quite simple once you become familiar with WMP. I do recommend that you purchase some in-the-ear style earbuds, since the set that comes with the player do not stay in your ears very well (even the smallest of ears) especially when moving around. Also, the included arm band for using the player while exercising does not fit small arms.

    Overall this is a great player and is perfect for kids who can still be cool even without an iPod!
