Darlene Love Turns 69 With Cake From Celebrity Chef Richard Ruskell

Aug. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Rock & Roll legend Darlene Love returned this week from her tour Down Under as the lead in FAME, Australia.  Ms. Love performed with the production in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and returns to the United States this week, in time to celebrate a belated birthday with her friends from REEL Good Productions, LLC, the start-up production company that will bring her life to the big screen.  

Celebrating at the Montage, Beverly Hills, Ms. Love received a special cake from celebrity pastry chef, Richard Ruskell, of the Montage Hotel, in the shape of a 45 rpm record player.  Chef Ruskell is a five-time Food Network challenge winner.

Joining Ms. Love were Tina Andrews, Director, Who is Darlene Love?, Nancy Severnson, So You Think You Can Dance?, SONY Executive, Rob Santos, screenwriter/actor, Hayden Adams, casting directors Michael Donovan and Peter Matyas, REEL Good Productions executives, Steven and Karen Yarn and Ms. Love’s agent, Eric Stevens of Rainbow High Entertainment.
