"Varna 24 th International Ballet Competition 2010" has ended

“Varna 24 th  International Ballet Competition 2010 “ has ended

Besides  of weather problems  and hard conditions for the participants finally the  “Varna 24 th International Ballet Competition”  came to an end. After each round the participants had to prepare their  solo’s  and duets after each performance, for the next round. The rehearsals started after midnight till 4 o’clock in the morning. Each of these artists were motivated to achieve excellence and were hoping to win a gold medal.  At the last third round it became clear that the Korean dancers were the winners.  They showed the International Jury members of the competition;  excellence in performing, exact placement, for the man incredible high jumps, rhythm, dynamics and  muscular strength combined  for the girls with elegant, sublime and exquisite ballet technique.
Hopefully we see in the next  “25th  Varna International Ballet Competition 2012” new talents  from many countries. For now, The Korean dancers are an example for many  International dancers of their age.  On behalf of Mr. Dimitrov, organizing committee and the members of the jury, the winners are:
                                                                                                                   
Korea: Sae  Eun Park, Gold Medal; Myung  Kuy Kim, Gold Medal.
China: Siyan  Zhang, Silver Medal; Xiaodong  Ma, Silver Medal.
Armenia: Avetik Karapetyan, Bronze Medal.

The members of the Jury were:The famous choreographer Juri Grigorivich from  Russia;      Elisabeth Platel, France;Petar  Lukanov, Bulgaria; Septime Weber, USA;  Margherita  Parrila, Italy;Tadeusz  Matasz,Poland; Sun-Hee Kim,Korea;  Hideo Fukagawa,Japan;
Benjamin  Feliksdal, The Netherlands and  Vladimir Logunov, Serbia.
