DeAngelis Studio of Music, Haverhill, MA: DeAngelis Studio owners Mike DeAngelis and Nancy Burger gave the Black Diamonds a great challenge and they owned it! The 50th annual German-American Volksfest in Berlin invited Black Diamonds to play at their festival on opening night this past July.
But it almost didn't happen. To make a long story short, one Black Diamonds' member could not make the trip and this is where the professionalism of this young band really shines. Black Diamonds guitar player, Henry, was missed by the boys very much and he was in their thoughts every day. But, Black Diamonds owe many thanks to Sebastian of Live Wire band from Frankfurt, for filling-in on guitar and making it all possible.
With literally only a 1/2 a rehearsal before the show, Black Diamonds members, AJ, Nick, Wolfgang and Sebastian wowed the organizers and the crowd and earned themselves an experience of a lifetime. Black Diamonds, Mike, Nancy and the family members who came along will never forget this amazing city and country and all the great friends they made.
