It was a busy week for David Watson, as he represented Pure Power Distribution (www.PurePowerD.com)
The California Agriculture Industry is seeking to learn and report on new and more cost-efficient ways to lift water to fields and solar - in particular Mobile Solar Power Systems – are particularly interesting technology. Pure Power’s movable solar generators have a dual benefit for farmers of being portable - towed by truck or tractor - and fueled with limitless and free fuel from the sun.
And a mobile solar system operates with little or no fossil fuel (hybrid systems use some), which reduces or eliminates fuel costs, fuel-hauling costs, spillage and soil remediation, and engine tune-up costs. The Systems are built burly enough to handle unfinished roads and equipment paths around fields. Easy to set up and operate, it takes about 7 minutes from the time a farmer stops the truck or tractor to the time he’s producing clean, quiet power.
Not to mention quiet and clean – solar generators produce no noise that disturbs workers, and no soot or toxic air pollution that creates haze in the valleys.
