By: Patrick W. Murphy Sunrise Aviation has enrolled students from Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil and other Latin and South American countries since 1999. In many of those countries, Sunrise Aviation graduates are now flying for the airlines. In some cases, the Sunrise Aviation graduates have secured jobs in other areas of the world such as the Middle East or India where there have been shortages of experienced airline pilots. Growth figures released recently for Latin America and South America indicate strong demand for aircraft purchases in both the corporate and airline segments. In recent years, students from more than 50 countries have enrolled in their pilot training programs. Currently, students from Brazil, Saudi Arabia, India, UAE, Egypt, Yemen.
