Pink Your Drink Event

Aug. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Thursday, August 12, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Westport Whiskey & Wine plans to roll out the Pink carpet with a special Pink Your Drink Event sponsored by Chambord Flavored Vodka.

Look for the big tent outside of Westport Whiskey & Wine in Westport Village where Brown-Forman Beverages will launch the new Chambord Flavored Vodka. Parisian Cosmopolitans featuring Chambord Flavored Vodka, and a tasting of Bubbles by Korbel are planned for inside the store along with Boombozz Tap House appetizers and Chambord Flavored Vodka chocolate from Cellar Door Chocolates. Activities include pink fingernail painting and elements chair massages. Valet Parking by Ready Valet is free with any purchase or donation.

Guests are encouraged to wear Pink attire and to have their picture taken on the pink carpet by the paparazzi. Participants in the Pink-Out will receive a 10% discount on their total purchases that evening for wearing pink. The cost of the event is $10 per person. A portion of the $10 tasting fee and $1 for every bottle of Chambord & Korbel sold will be donated to sponsor Kelly McClure, Office Manager/Buyer for Westport Whiskey & Wine, on her participation in the 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Everyone attending will be eligible to win door prizes including a sterling silver 7-bead “Breast Cancer Pink Out” Personality Bracelet, custom designed by Clater Jewelers (retail value $216).

Paint the Village Pink for a day will include pink specials throughout the Village including Pink Drinks at the restaurants, Chambord Flavored Vodka Sorbet at the Comfy Cow, Chambord Flavored Vodka glazed meat grilled on The Green Egg at the new Pools Plus grand opening, and pink jewelry at Clater Jewelers. Win a new BMW from Sam Swope BMW! Representatives from the Children's Hospital Foundation will be on hand to sell raffle tickets to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital.
