Display Talk launches to unite sign and display disciplines

Aug. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- A new online portal for the sign and display industries has been launched at www.display-talk.com. Display Talk aims to bring together the traditional sign-making, wide-format printing and digital signage disciplines with a single source of news and market intelligence, including blogs from commentators within the sector.

“Although there is the potential for excellent crossover between traditional, dominant and futuristic sign and display creation technologies, there’s no resource that ties it all together,” explains James Matthews-Paul, publisher and editorial director of Display Talk. “We aim to bring a vibrant new approach to this industry, talking about a variety of different types of output, their effect on sign and display businesses and on society in general.”

The portal uploads news about sign fabrication, wide-format printing and digital signage technologies, trends and market news on a daily basis. The publishing team includes Morwenna Kearns, managing editor, and Camilla Corr, contributor. Sophie Matthews-Paul, the wide-format industry’s ‘Mrs Ink-jet’ and consultant for Display Talk, will also contribute her blog.
