Edmunds.com honored the Hyundai Elantra and Azera by recognizing the vehicles on their Used Car Best Bets for 2010 list.
Edmunds is the leading online resource for automotive information and bases their assessment of vehicles on reliability, safety, value, and availability. Edmunds reviews consumer ratings, reports on reliability and longevity, as well as the auto reviewer’s own experience and judgment. This year the Hyundai Elantra and Azera have scored remarkably high in all categories, placing the two vehicles on the Used Car Best Bets for 2010 list.
For this year, all cars and trucks in model years ranging from 2003 to 2008 were eligible to be placed on the Used Car Best Bets list. Various models of the Elantra and Azera did very well in two categories. For the model years 2003 to 2008, the Elantra won out in the Compact Sedan category. For the model years 2006 to 2008, the Azera dominated the Large Sedan segment. Chicago Hyundai dealerships are thrilled about the vehicle’s high ratings in an assortment of crash tests from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Edmunds.com notes the Elantra had very impressive crash test scores as well as a smooth ride with solid build quality.
