Fisker Karma Made A Successful Debut In Orange County At The University Of California Irvine

Aug. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- August 2, 2010 – Irvine, Calif., - Fisker Karma, the world’s first eco-chic, eco-friendly, luxury performance car was successfully revealed in Orange County at The Henry Samueli School of Engineering at UC Irvine on July 22.
   The stylish, premium plug-in hybrid was introduced to Orange County’s local markets, new retail networks and driving enthusiast at a private high style event.
   Guests at the event were treated to live entertainment, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and information about Fisker Karma before the unveiling of the vehicle.
   “We're delighted that so many excited spectators were able to join us for this spectacular event,” said General Manager of Fisker of Orange County, Steve Rudkin.
   Spectators had the opportunity to personally view the Fisker Karma up-close by having a chance to sit inside the Fisker Karma and take a detailed look at its interior and exterior.
   “The feedback we’ve received has been extremely positive and we’re excited for Fisker’s future,” Rudkin said.
   The environmentally minded consumer interested in luxury vehicles inspired Fisker’s Karma creation. The Karma features cutting-edge plug-in hybrid technology, penned as Q DRIVE, developed by Quantum Technologies, which consists of a small gasoline engine that turns the generator and charges the lithium ion battery pack, powering the electric motor and turning the rear wheels. The vehicle can also reach up to 100MPG.
