The firm's  growth is not just due to a bad economy.  
"There has always been a problem with collections in the transportation industry;  In both on top of the economic cycle and at the bottom.  We have developed very effective strategies  and techniques that make us extremely effective."  says JT Reesor, president of Baxter Bailey and Associates.  
"Our business is very different than consumer collections.  We are sometimes brought in to provide and outside prospective to help mediate a dispute, that is a role we like to play."  he said
Sometimes the problems stem deeper.  Often third party brokers will pose as trucking companies and double broker a load.
"This is a violation of federal law, and a real problem for shippers who are ultimately responsible for paying the trucking company that actually hauled the load" he said.  
"They may end up paying twice."
With the business seeing double digit growth, there is a real need for agents who must undergo extensive training and have both great communication skills and also an unusually strong professional temperament.
"We are looking to expand, but it is critical that we get the right people.  Both detail and attitude is critical in this business." Reesor added.
Plans are to incrementally hire and train new employees with the first round of hiring already underway.
