The successful web directory 2Space.net is looking for a buyer

Aug. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- After gathering some information on the internet, it is clear that Erwin De Laat, the founder of 2Space.net (http://www.2space.net) is looking for a buyer.

2Space.net was first launched in June 2004 and had a steady growth until the end of 2009. Since the early months of 2010 2Space.net has an exponential growth of a 600 daily visitors up to 9000 daily visitors in July.

Erwin De Laat has confirmed that 2Space.net is for sale : “2Space.net has grown above my head”, he said.

Erwin De Laat has a sole proprietorship “Flemish Net Services”.  
“Due to the growth 2Space.net has a lot of opportunities, but due to our main activities we have not the spare time to take 2Space.net to the next level. At this point we've got 2 possibilities a) keeping 2Space.net as it is and loosing all the opportunities or b) selling 2Space.net and giving all the opportunities to the next owner.”

Search engines are very interested in 2Space.net. Google indexes up to 65,000 pages of 2Space.net each day and Yahoo! knows more than 500,000 pages of the powerful website.
Visitors come from all over the world but visitors of the U.S., India, U.K. and Canada are responsible for 50% of the 75 Gigabyte of monthly traffic.

Erwin De Laat told that 2Space.net receives all traffic without spending 1$ on marketing. “The website is only the perfect source for search engines and related visitors”, he explained. “The current growth came after some structural changes... already after 1 month, in February '10, our amount of visitors was doubled,... in March it doubled again, also in April”.
In July 2Space.net reached more than 9,000 daily visitors, this was 1,000 daily visitors more than in June.

Erwin hopes to find a buyer soon, he told... “2Space.net has been like a child to me, and now it has come to an age of leaving it's home”.

The founder avoids questions about the price. “I'll look at every reasonable offer” he said. If we look at   respected rating websites like Bizinformation (http://bizinformation.org/us/www.2space.net) or Markosweb (http://www.markosweb.com/www/2space.net/) it could be a promising sale.
