Aug. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- This will be an informative session on navigating the many Federal, Oregon and local energy credits and incentives, presented by Carrier Fortier, CPA and Kelsi Griesel, CPA, members of the Energy Tax Credit Team at Jones & Roth CPAs and Business Advisors. Carrie and Kelsi will explain all the credits and incentives that are currently available to businesses and discuss the changes that have been made by many recent legislative actions, along with a example of how to calculate your benefit on a project. Credits are dollar for dollar reduction of taxes that can be used by your company to significantly reduce the company’s tax liability. These savings can contribute greatly to the bottom line.

Carrie and Kelsi will answer your tax credit questions and provide everyone with a simple printed guide to the various business energy tax credits and incentives that are available.

GreenLane will also highlight GreenLane member Eugene Pedicab – Pedicab owner Wayne Whiting had his own medical transcription business for 23 years and at one time provided transcription services for 23 physicians. After losing a big account and realizing that the medical transcription business was taking a different course, he decided to do something different. Wayne always loved the pedicabs in San Francisco and thought that would be a fun business. Learn about Wayne’s successful green business at our August 11th GreenLane luncheon.

When: Wednesday, August 11, 2010 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Where: Mallard Hall 725 West 1st Eugene, OR
Cost: Lunch Optional $10.00
