July 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Nokomis, Inc. has been awarded an Air Force Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base for “Autonomous and Adaptive Techniques to Collect and Analyze RF Effects Data”.

High-Power Microwave and Radio-Frequency Directed Energy Weapon (HPM/RF DEW) technologies are able to effectively engage electronic systems in military environments resulting in the debilitation or disruption of critical system functionality.  

The Phase I contract provides proof-of-concept funding for advanced development of an automated system to assess Directed Energy (DE) effects. The Phase II component of this effort has a value of $750,000.
