Upcoming Movie Alert! Tim Burton Creating New Monster Bash

July 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Tim Burton is working on a monster movie to list of movies coming soon. John August is going to be involved in Burton’s new movie. He’s been collaborating with Burton for years on movies including Corpse Bride, Big fish and upcoming movie Frankenweenie.

Tim Burton will be the director and John August is writing the script. Ken Ralston (in collaboration with Burton) will be responsible for the visual effects. He has one four academy awards and has done visual effects for Death Becomes Her, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cocoon, Dragonslayer and all three Star Wars movies.  The movie will be a movie 3D and is expected to be released in 2012.

“The general take on the film that I can give you is that the giant monsters come to earth and start wreaking
havoc. The humans, at this point, fight back. And they feel like they’ve destroyed them, but they quickly
learn that the monsters that come had actually not died and just sort of burrowed underground and are
sending some sort of signal into space.
