Pioneer Technology Group was awarded a court case management contract with the Sarasota Clerk of Circuit Court & County Comptroller. The decision was reached through a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Sarasota County will become the 8th county in Florida to install Pioneer Technology Group’s Court Case Management Software, Benchmark. The move will help soften the blow from budget cuts for the Florida Clerks. Benchmark uses the latest in paperless technology to allow users to process court files electronically rather than by paper. The efficiencies gained by the systems will, over the course of the contract, save Sarasota County Taxpayers time and money.

Benchmark is a unique blend of Web tools and Client Server processes that have been developed using Microsoft’s .Net platform and SQL Server 2005. The system incorporates document imaging, improved workflows, electronic filing, electronic signatures, Web tools for the Judiciary and in-court processing techniques that will allow counties to cut their overall court operation costs by 20% to 25%.
