The Boulder County Business Report’s IQ (Innovation Quotient) Awards have awarded Boulder-area businesses with innovative and market-changing products and services for over ten years. The focus for this award is particularly on advanced technologies and sustainable practices. Amadeus Consulting is a natural fit for this award, having a particular focus on building sustainable business practices as well as sustainable business models for its clients through advanced technology.
Amadeus Consulting was nominated for the Software Product and Services category for the company’s enterprise bike sharing software developed for Denver B-cycle. The enterprise system incorporates kiosk interfaces, customer Web services, Web-based administrative tool and iPhone™ and Android™ applications, as well as 24 x 7 Support that has assisted Denver B-cycle in becoming the first US-based bike-sharing company.
Regarding the project Lisa Calkins, Chief Executive Officer of Amadeus Consulting said “It was such a great honor to be a part of not only such a ground-breaking bike-sharing program, but also to be able to develop so many integrated forms of technology for one client. We have enjoyed working with the B-cycle team to make this innovative and complex technology. It’s an honor to be nominated for our work with this project.”
The Boulder County Business Report’s panel of judges narrows down the nominations to three finalists in each category, and selects a winner for each category. The winners of the IQ Award in each industry category will be announced August 24th at the Boulder Theater.
