Cotton prices up 55%, but our prices stay the same

Cotton prices have risen by 55% since last year, but our prices remain the same and in many cases our prices have dropped. Although many apparel companies have opted to pass the cost to the consumer, we have decided to eat that cost.

July 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Two months ago it was reported in The Wall Street Journal, that cotton prices had risen 55% in the past 12 months.  There are several reasons for the price increase, some have to do with the production of cotton and cotton scarcity due to severe weather in China (the worlds largest cotton producer).  Other reasons for the increase in cotton production come from fuel prices for transportation/distribution and wage increases from the workers producing the cotton.   Due to the rise in costs for raw materials, such as cotton, many retailers are either feeling the economic pinch, using synthetic materials blended with cotton, or are opting to increase their prices for their goods.
Here at Think! Graphic and Printing, we have decided to take the hit on the rising cost of cotton.  Although the cost of cotton, the production and shipping have all increased over the year and look like they are going to continue to rise. We are going to eat that cost and keep our prices the same and in some cases cheaper than they were last year.  We will continue to offer quality products at very competitive prices.  During the month of July we were offering some amazing deals.  For example one of our specials was 50 white t-shirts with a one color imprint for only $149 with no extra hidden charges.  We also offered 48 color t-shirts with a personalized one color imprint for only $175.  Every month we have new specials and our standard pricing is very affordable as well.  If you’re not looking for screen printing, we can print anything you want on whatever you want.  If you’re looking for business cards (paper, plastic or magnetic), fliers, copies, vinyl banners, posters web design or custom logos, then our professional and courteous staff is here to make your dreams a reality.
