, the worldwide leader of Single Board Computers, unveils its latest addition to the family of industrial-grade Pico-ITX (measuring just 10cm x 7.2cm, 75% smaller than the Mini-ITX form factor, ) Embedded Miniboard LP-171 that SBC based on the Intel Atom processor Z510P procesor and the Intel® System Controller Hub (SCH) US15WP,low power chipset in one small 22x22 mm package for embedded lifecycle support. It is especially suitable for application that must be contained in a limited space control systems. The combination of high performance, low power and integrated graphics/video makes this platform well suited for many embedded market segments such as in-vehicle infotainment, industrial control and automation, gaming, diagnotic and therapeutic medical devices, media phones, and retail and transation solutions.
The LP--171 Embedded motherboard offers the Graphics Accelerator GMA500, that supports shader-based technology 2D, 3D and advanced 3D graphics, 256MB of graphic memeory as well as integrated full fardware acceleration of H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4,
VC1 and WMV, eliminating the need for software decode and off-loading the processor. and it also provides a dual display for VGA/LVDS/DVI.
COMMELL's LP-171 supports DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 2GB, and comes with PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, 2 x RS232C, Networking is provided by Intel 82574L Giga LAN, 2 x USB2.0 ports, HD audio, CompactFlash socket, Expansion with one PCIE mini card socket, DC12V input.
