As New Jersey residents know all too well, the economic climate in our State is dire and has gotten worse since the current Administration has embarked on its deficit spending spree. As the President descends on New Jersey to speak about the economy, some key facts about New Jersey’s economic state should be remembered:
• New Jersey has lost 85,600 jobs since President Obama took office in January, 2009 *
• New Jersey’s unemployment rate has remained stagnant at well over 9%, 33rd in the nation, for 13 consecutive months since May, 2009**
