Steven W. Hammons, President & CEO, announced today that National Real Estate Buyers & Associates, Inc. will be phasing out its real estate investing activities in order focus on purchasing and selling of owner-financed mortgage notes, trust deeds, land contracts and other related cash flows. Additionally, the company will be actively engaged in the purchasing and selling of Bank Owned (REO) properties.
In making the announcement, Hammons stated, “The rapidly changing foreclosure market, and foreseen government regulation of real estate investors, makes this shift in business strategy the correct one at this time, especially with the glut of REO properties and non-performing loans”
Hammons further stated that the above change in business focus means the company will be phasing out of foreclosure short sales, wholesaling properties and involvement in rent-to-own projects.
