Miami Band MGE Singing For Their Lives

Sujo and Syrus and Q-Raz spend all their free time writing music or preparing for the next gig but they have to. They live for the music each hails from Miami and represents the best and brightest of a multitude of genres from Soul to Hip Hop to Bangin House and altternative club. MGE is another group that refuses to be pigeon holed. Thay have performed in Baseball stadiums to neighborhood dives but wherever they perform they leave behind legions of fans. Now with a major distribution deal new International Management and an album due out in October 2010. MGE is too nervous to sit back and wait. In a story reminiscent of the Jacksons these three distinct personalities got together purely for the love of what they do. " We are like family" says female member and lead singer Sujo.

"We are so excited." And they have a lot to be excited for with a new single Sexy I climbing the Miami charts and pushing the regional borders MGE may just be what Universal records is hoping for a  band that reaches all Urban markets and the suburbs!
MGE (Music Grand Effect) sounds like a reinvented “Black Eyed Peas with some meat and mashed potatoes on the side”. They strive to take their gifts and share them with the world. Judging from their catchy hooks, persistance, and energetic sound they seem very well equipt and capable to do just that. MGE take Pop/Hip Hop to a new level with their powerful lyrics and compositions, and skillfully produced tracks. They are prepared to take the lead when it comes to consistently develop radio quality-public friendly melodies with songwriting that people remember and will undoubtably fall in love with. Once their records are put to play, you’ll understand why they are worth all the attention and rave. MGE was established in May of 2007. It includes MGE’s “First Lady” Sujo an amazing Vocalist/Songwriter/Producer, Q-Raz the excellent Rapper/Lyricist, and definitely not least Producer/Hype Man/ Co-Songwriter C-Syrus which many believe will also be the “next upcoming Music Producer. The Group has been performing in variuos local venues and festivals, while simultaneously working hard to get their music heard by the public. Here are a few of the places were they have perfomed: One Night Stand private event festival: Closing Act, Miami Dade Community College: Main Act, Art Exhibition at Soya Pomodoro: Special Performance, The Uva Lounge Club, Prime Grill, Pop Rox Club Venue, Tobacco Road, The Chocolate Mousse Cafe. In the next weeks they are scheduled to perform at The Living Room,The Bal Harbour Island Art Festival and their single “Sexy I” is available for download.

Recently they were also given the opportunity to create the theme song for Hot Stepz Magazine's new reality Show Hot Stepperz which will feature performances by Russell Ferguson, Ana Rokafella Garcia,Lady Beast, Josh from the Dance Crew Status Quo,Neeca Wilder 50 Mics award winning Choreographer and Choreographer Brittany Delany.
