Spell-It-Out Photos goes primetime. Business partners, Lynn McAuliffe and Sue Tenerowicz, were recently featured in a segment of San Francisco’s premier evening magazine on CBS Channel 5’s Eye on the Bay July 16, 2010.  Eye on the Bay correspondent, Dave Stoelk interviewed Lynn and Sue at historic Fort Point, located directly under San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.  They clearly have their Eye on the Bay from a letter perspective.  Their letter art photography business is based in the Bay Area and features shots from around the picturesque California countryside.
Dave challenged them to find letters to spell his name.  While the creative duo hunted for letters, Dave asked various questions about their business, how they find letters, and what customers can expect when they visit http://spellitoutphotos.com/
Sue explained that their letter art photography website allows customers to spell a word, then use the site’s 300+ images of letters to transform that word into a piece of art.  Each letter is formed either by nature or a structure, and then cropped perfectly to create a flowing alphabet of images.  Customer creations can be double matted and framed, printed on gallery wrapped canvas, or made into unique greeting cards.  “We have at least 10 options for every letter of the alphabet,” explained Sue, “Our letters are found not created.  The way you see them in the gallery is how I’ve found them.  We perform minor editing to correct lighting and color balance to give you the best image possible.  All of our images are shot in the correct perspective.  We won’t turn a bridge on its side to create a D.  If you need to turn your head to see the letter, then it is not a letter.”
Lynn assisted the crew with taping a variety of framed creations to show on the segment.  Each one placed on a table with the San Francisco Bay as its backdrop.  “It was a perfect day for filming,” said Lynn, “You can’t predict the weather in that part of the city, but we had a beautiful day to shoot the segment.”
Eye on the Bay wrapped up the segment  showing  their challenge for the day, the letters D A V E.
Spell-It-Out Photos shares a unique view of California.  They ship nationwide and offer a variety of other products.  Their items are ideal for home décor, wedding décor, and specialty gifts.  Products range from $20 - $195.
Eye on the Bay is an evening magazine show that airs on CBS in the San Francisco Bay programming area.  To see the interview, go to http://cbs5.com/video/?id=67410%40kpix.dayport.com  or you can visit http://spellitoutphotos.com/ and view the clip on their homepage.
