Stephen has worked in the document management industry for over 13 years, primarily within the Oil and Gas industry. However, in May 2010 Stephen joined Voice Technologies as a Senior Developer, where he was instrumental in designing the company’s soon to be released document verification application, which provides a framework for the workflow of documents in a controlled approval process.
Commenting on his promotion, Stephen said: “This new role will offer me the opportunity to direct the company’s development processes in a more constructive manner, allowing us to create a wider range of software to meet the needs of our clients. I think my extensive knowledge of the document management industry enables me to provide a great level of insight to our business and am looking forward to using my knowledge to strengthen our product offering.”
Working alongside Stephen, George has been with Voice Technologies for two years, also working as Senior Developer, with a heavy focus on the company’s most recently launched software, WinVoicePro, which allows the NHS to operate a completely electronic process for document creation and approval. Prior to joining the company, George spent four years working as a developer at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
George said of his promotion: “I see my new role as an evolution of my previous position in that I will still remain involved with the ongoing development of the WinVoicePro product suite, but will also work to assist Stephen with the overall management and strategy of the development team.”
Heather Wylie, Managing Director of Voice Technologies added: “Software development has been key to our success in recent times and will shape our future. Stephen and George have great plans for a constructive and inclusive way to move the company forward and with their combined expertise we are looking forward to the progressing our product range in order to secure and strengthen our market position.”
