Chinese Characters in World Cup

Personally speaking, I do not like football because I think it is boring with almost no shots in the overall process. This time I paid attention to it because my roommate likes it very much. So, she would turn on the TV and watch the match every night when she got home. Living together with her, I would usually watch (http://www.trustytime.net/category-30-b0-BLANCPAIN.html) the game together with her.
One day when we were watching the game, I suddenly noticed that there were Chinese characters on the ban around the play ground. I did not know the brand which was written in Chinese, but I was so excited as I saw Chinese characters in such a big occasion. No matter whether it was the Chinese company’s idea to use Chinese characters as the word in the advertisement or it was the host’s suggestion to use Chinese characters, it all meant that we Chinese are playing a more and more important role on the world stage.
The next day, I searched the characters on the ban online and found that one of the brands is from China and the other is from Singapore. At that moment, I did not know what to say. I can understand the one from China to put the Chinese characters “China” before the brand name. But why a Singapore brand put the Chinese character “China” at the front of the brand name? Does this mean that it was the host’s idea to use Chinese characters? It’s really confusing.
Anyway, it was still an exciting thing to have Chinese characters on the world wide occasion. And I do hope that our Chinese should be proud of our culture. When we are learning English or some other languages, we should learn our own Chinese well enough.
