McCann Systems Explores Advanced Audio Visual Seminars at InfoComm

Key staff members of McCann Systems explored the latest innovations in Audio Visual technology by attending the numerous seminars and courses held at InfoComm 2010.

July 26, 2010 - PRLog -- McCann Systems, a leading design-build audio visual integrator, made the grade at InfoComm 2010 by enrolling their Director of Technology, Sales Department, Project Managers, Project/Drafting Manager, Fabrication Engineer and Media Manager in numerous information-packed AV courses and seminars.  From advanced courses at the InfoComm Academy to 3D, IMCCA and Special Interest training sessions, McCann Systems was at the head of the class, learning the latest technology, trends and most current audio visual practices and solutions.

InfoComm 2010, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, is one of the most progressive pro-AV events in the world.  McCann’s varsity team of AV experts took full advantage of the advanced learning opportunities offered at this pro-AV convention. Committed to empowering employees through education, McCann System enrolled AV specialists from every department into the InfoComm Academy and special interest seminars.  

Jonathan Shor, Director of Technology, attended Super Tuesday – held the Tuesday before the opening of InfoComm – and successfully completed a seven-hour intensive session on Technology Trends (IST3).  

The Sales Department, including Chris Lelli, Stephen Keppler, Cory Crawford and Mike Russo, were fully immersed in the 2010 InfoComm Academy, attending seminars on Digital Video (1W05), Video Signals and Video Format Conversions (IS44), Audio & Acoustics (IS21) and Intermediate Digital Video Systems Design (IS66).  This well-matriculated Sales staff also attended seminars on HD (IMCCA5) presented by the Interactive Multimedia Collaborative Communications Alliance.

Project Manager Joseph Fusaro learned the latest facts on Green AV & Sustainability (IS19) as well as Display in “HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort in the Real World” (IS55) – two new courses introduced this year at the InfoComm Academy.   Project Manager Ken Newbury mastered Digital Video Systems Design (IS66) as well as Videoconferencing Lighting Performance Standards (IS45).    

Project & Drafting Manager Nick Fazio was engrossed in 3D training, completing special training programs in 3D Displays (3D1) as well as an intermediate course, Evaluating 3D Displays: Visual Techniques and Measurement Procedures (3D2).

Fabrication Engineer Mike Finnerty dove into Super Tuesday, participating in an advanced seven-hour Masters Class on Acoustics (IST7) and then turned his attention to Digital Signage, completing an advanced course on Display Color Management (1W01).  

Media Manager Christopher Ludwig mastered Social Media (IS10) and also completed an Intermediate 3D Special Interest training program, Dimensionalized Experience – Bring 3D to Your Entire Visual Computing Experience (3D13).
