Miami High Rise becomes states largest new LEED Certified Building

1450 Brickell earns the US Green Building Councils LEED Gold award. LEED Recognizes the greenest design and built buildings in the world.

July 24, 2010 - PRLog -- The Spinnaker Group announces that 1450 Brickell,  a world-class office building located along Brickell Avenue’s business and financial district in Miami has earned the US Green Building Councils LEED Gold certification. This is the first new high rise Class A office building in the region to earn this distinction. The building, owned and developed by Rilea Group was designed by Coral Gable Architects Nichols Brosch Wurst and Wolfe. The Spinnaker Group provide sustainable design, LEED consulting and commissioning services for the project.

The building, which opened earlier this year is designed to save over 2 millions gallons of water per year and be very energy efficient.
