An HTG peer group is a group of 6-12 like-minded IT company leaders who meet quarterly in a non-competitive environment to network and discuss issues specific to each member’s concerns as a company owner, president or manager.
HTG is organized by Arlin Sorensen, president of Heartland Technology Solutions, one of the member companies. Arlin launched the first HTG peer group in 2001 based both on his desire for an opportunity to interact with peers in a non-competitive setting and on his observation of a lack of peer groups in the mid-market space. HTG Peer Groups are composed of industry leaders led by industry insiders with years of experience.
Harris Computer Services has been a member in good standing with HTG for over two years. Ottawa business can benefit from Harris' involvement. Membership in HTG is not open to any firm looking for a Peer or Mastermind group. Membership involves strict following of core business principles and having the openness to help and receive help from each peer member.
The Ottawa business community benefits because Harris now has deep connections with leading technology vendors such as SonicWALL, Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo and meeting with these leading vendors each quarter helps Ottawa business stay on top of the changing technology trends in the market today.
